Her Highness Sheikha Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King of Bahrain and Chairwoman of The Supreme Council for Women. Her Highness Sheikha Sabeeka has adopted and supported many causes among them the drawing up of a general plan and policies for improving the status of Bahraini women in various domains; presides over numerous vocational and philanthropic societies; encourages the preservation of the environment, flora and fauna; represents her country along world leaders in international and regional conferences on women and children. She is the recipient of numerous honorary degrees and awards.
